We have been very busy since returning to school in April. Here is a flavour of some of the activities that we have been doing...
In Science and Geography, we have been learning about Materials and specifically Soil. We investigated soil samples and tried to find minibeasts, using magnifying containers. We also drew a diagram of the layers of soil and labelled it.
In History, we were learning about the oldest tribe in the world - The San People of Southern Africa. We watched videos about their lives, read about them in our books, did activities based on what we had read, drew African themed prints and made African jewellery from clay.
We also planted seeds in soil and are growing perfect peas in our classroom - they will be going home soon as they are too big for their pots!
